Among the many benefits of these hammers and tips is better performance and tip retention. The keyway takes the pressure off the bolts, leading to less breakages and better performance. Using a single bolt also allows for more tungsten overlay or a good size tungsten tile. The (OEM) double bolt setup on smaller tips, such as the Morbark 4600, left little room for alternative styles of insert.
